In a world on the brink of extinction, survival is no longer a matter of weapons or strategy—it is a matter of evolution.

Guardians of the Abyss: Rogue Protocol takes place in a dystopian future where humanity has been nearly wiped out by the sudden emergence of demonic entities. These creatures appeared without warning, and worse—they could not be killed by conventional means. Any damage inflicted would simply regenerate.

Desperation forced humanity to adapt.

The Rise of Next Gen Corp

In partnership with the government, Next Gen Corp, one of the most advanced technological organizations in the world, developed weapons capable of permanently damaging these entities. For the first time, demons could be killed.

But it wasn’t enough.

Even with these advancements, the creatures proved too fast, too aggressive, and too powerful for normal humans to handle. The battlefield demanded something more.

Something beyond human.

The Birth of the Guardians

Following years of secret genetic experimentation, Next Gen Corp received authorization to initiate the “Enhanced Slayers” program.

The result:

  • Over 50% success rate

  • Failed subjects: death

  • Successful subjects: enhanced strength, speed, and reflexes far beyond human limits

These soldiers were publicly introduced as the protectors of humanity:

The Guardians of the Abyss

But as time passed, the line between government authority and corporate control began to blur… until it was no longer clear who was truly in charge.

Escalation: The Elite Slayer Program

The threat continued to grow.

Stronger demons. Greater numbers. Faster evolution.

To counter this, a new program was created:

Codename: Elite Slayers

This was no longer enhancement.

This was transformation.

The success rate dropped dramatically. Thousands of subjects failed. Hope was fading.

Until four survived.

And then… there was Jackson.

Jackson — The Final Subject

Jackson was not an ordinary candidate.

Even before the procedure, he was already an elite soldier—capable of defeating Enhanced Slayers in close combat.

He was the perfect subject.

Or the perfect risk.

Dr. Bane's Hidden Agenda

Behind the scenes, Dr. Bane, the lead scientist of the program, had his own plan.

Beyond the serum designed to unlock Jackson’s full potential, Bane implanted nanobots into his brain—carrying fragments of his own memories and personality.

Not just to guide him.

But to influence him.

To shape him.

To prepare him for something far greater than survival.

The Simulation

To survive the procedure, Jackson must endure a simulation—one built from reality itself.

Every skill learned.Every battle fought.Every power gained.

All of it determines whether he lives… or dies.

In this simulation:

  • Progress is survival

  • Failure is death

  • Repetition is inevitable

Jackson will relive the simulation again and again, growing stronger with each attempt.

Until something changes.

When Simulation Becomes Reality

As the process continues, the line between simulation and reality begins to fade.

What is real? What is constructed? What is manipulation?

Jackson’s survival depends on one thing:

He must not give up.

Because if he does…

His body won’t survive the process.

Your Role

You are not just playing as Jackson.

You are the force that pushes him forward.

You decide:

  • how he fights

  • how he evolves

  • how far he goes

Each run makes him stronger.

Each failure brings him closer to death.

The Question Remains

Are you creating the ultimate protector of humanity…

or something far more dangerous?
